This is the clearest example of the pop culture and artistic influences on politics. Wyclef's potential run for Haitian President is the first time that influence is being writ large. Yes, Reagan and Ah-nold have done it, but that was after their careers and a calculated political existence. Wyclef is the first to jump right from stage to podium.
