The David Project

Last night, Artists 4 Israel were honored to have David Dabschek of The David Project attend our November (S)kin class. David got to see a beautiful, artistic, diverse crowd of young creatives eager to draw the naked form and to learn about Israel.

Artists 4 Israel got the validation of a leading organization in the Jewish community. The David Project is a an educational organization that promotes an honest, fair and fact-based understanding of Israel and the Middle East.

Without prior warning, Craig Dershowitz, President of Artists 4 Israel, called on David to deliver a 5 minute speech connecting Thanksgiving and Israel.

Considering that David is Australian, a country far more known for Tim Tams than Turkey, this was an even bigger challenge than anticipated. However, David handled it with the truthfulness and grace for which he is known and left the A4I crowd more knowledgeable than before.

We look forward to future partnerships with The David Project and encourage anyone who has further questions about the topics touched on in A4I's programs and projects to consider this organization as a resource.
